I'm Neebeesh. Potawatomi, from Neyaashiinigmiing in Ontario. Grew up between the rez and the city, walking in two worlds like a lot of us do.
My dad, Geewadin-ba Elliott, was one of the biggest connectors in Indian Country. The guy who knew everybody, introduced everybody, and made sure the right people were in the right rooms together. He spent his whole career making those connections. He passed away unexpectedly at RES, the same conference where half of Indian Country goes to build relationships and do business. The place he loved being the most.
Najmo means to tell a story in a unique way, in Potawatomi.
Najmo is me continuing the work my dad started. Connecting Indian Country. Now helping Nations grow the businesses they own.
I did not take the traditional route to get here. No marketing degree, no corporate background. I taught myself the skill set and built this from nothing.
When I am not building systems I am working out, walking my dog Waase, and being someone my younger self would look up to.
Real work we have done across Indian Country.
